What we do

Three services. One local team. Done right.

Whether you’re building from the ground up, dealing with a failing system, or replacing something that’s reached the end of its life — we handle every phase, every permit, and every inspection. No hand-offs, no surprises.

New construction

01

Septic System Installation

Coastal builds require expertise in sandy soils, high water tables, and Clatsop County DEQ requirements. We design and install systems built for North Coast conditions — site evaluation, design, permits, excavation, installation, and final sign-off all in one.

When things go wrong

02

Septic System Repair

Slow drains, sewage odors, wet spots, or a system alarm — we respond fast, assess honestly, and present your options clearly. Failed pumps, cracked distribution boxes, clogged baffles, root intrusion — we diagnose and fix it right.

Aging or failed systems

03

Septic System Replacement

Most systems last 20–30 years. When repair isn’t cost-effective, we manage the full replacement — assessment, permitting, removal, new system installation, and all required inspections. Honest guidance on repair vs. replace, always.

Common questions

Trusted by Clatsop County Property Owners

How much does a new septic system installation cost?
Septic installation costs vary significantly depending on your property’s soil conditions, the system type required, lot size, and access. On the North Oregon Coast, most residential installations fall somewhere between $15,000 and $35,000 — with conventional gravity systems at the lower end and mound, pressure distribution, or advanced treatment systems at the higher end. We provide free, written estimates after a site visit, so you’ll know exactly what you’re looking at before any commitment is made. There are no surprise line items.
The honest answer is: it depends on your system’s age, the nature of the failure, and what a proper assessment reveals. As a general rule, if your system is under 15 years old and the problem is isolated — a failed pump, a cracked distribution box, root intrusion in a lateral — repair is usually the right call. If the system is 20–25+ years old, has had recurring problems, or the drain field itself has failed, replacement often makes more financial sense than continuing to put money into an aging system. We’ll always give you a straight answer on this after seeing your system — not the answer that generates the larger invoice.
From first contact to final sign-off, most residential installations take 6 to 12 weeks — the majority of that time is permitting, not construction. The physical installation typically takes 2 to 5 days depending on system type and site conditions. Clatsop County Environmental Health and DEQ review timelines can vary, but we manage all of that for you and keep you updated throughout. We’ll give you a realistic timeline estimate specific to your project when we provide your quote.
Yes — completely. Every installation, replacement, and qualifying repair we complete includes full permitting management: soil evaluation coordination, permit application preparation and submission to Clatsop County Environmental Health, all back-and-forth with county staff and DEQ during review, inspection scheduling, on-site presence during inspections, and final as-built documentation. You deal with us, not the county offices. There is no additional fee for permitting — it’s part of every project.
All of Clatsop County — every incorporated city and all unincorporated areas, at the same flat rate. Gearhart, Cannon Beach, Seaside, Astoria, Warrenton, Hammond, Arch Cape, Manzanita, and rural east county parcels. We charge no mileage fees and no travel surcharges regardless of where in the county your property is located. If your address is in Clatsop County, we come to you at our standard rate.
Yes. We design and install septic systems for restaurants, retail buildings, short-term rental properties, and small multi-unit residential developments throughout Clatsop County. Commercial projects follow a separate DEQ permitting process from residential systems — sizing requirements, treatment standards, and inspection protocols are different — but we manage that process completely, the same way we do for residential work. Contact us with your property type and intended use and we’ll let you know what the project would involve.
